City Council
The City Council is the city’s representative body composed of deputies elected in direct elections by the city’s residents. The number of deputies for the entire election period of four years will be determined by the city council before the elections according to the number of the city’s inhabitants. The municipal council in Banská Bystrica is composed of 31 deputies.
